As a matter of fact, competition has always been Unifert's raison d'etre: our company came into existence in 1968 when three fierce competitors decided to join forces to launch Unifert onto the international fertilizer scene.

Unifert is active in the MENA markets (Middle-East / North Africa) through a network of affiliated companies whose operational management responsibility lies with our local partners: Unifert SAL in Lebanon, Attanmiah in Syria, Asmida in Jordan, ARD(Unifert) in Iraq and Algeria, Samtrade in Egypt, Twaiq in Saudi Arabia, Bazargan Kala in Iran and Unifert in Sudan. We also remain a key player on the international fertilizer trading scene and in the major European fertilizer markets.

Born in 1968, as a regional fertilizer and pesticide distribution company based in Lebanon, Unifert now strives to increase its market share by buying up competitors and expanding its geographic footholds in the MENA region and in Europe.
